Our Story

It started with a cup of coffee that went cold.

Not a fancy one. Just a regular mug, poured at 7:02 with the best of intentions — and abandoned at 7:04, because someone sat down, looked up, and made it very clear that the day would not be starting until certain ears had been scratched.

That mug got cold. A fresh one got brewed. Nobody regrets a thing.

The Hound & Roast Society is for people who build their mornings around two things: the first cup and the four paws. People who know the coffee will get cold. Who dump it and start over. Who wouldn't trade it for a quieter house.

What we believe

Mornings shouldn't feel like a race. Dogs are family, not accessories. And the small rituals — the pour, the walk, the warm patch of floor by the window — aren't the filler between the important parts of life. They are the important parts.

So we make shirts about it. Some are warm. Some are a little sarcastic. All of them are for people who get it — the ones who've explained to a houseguest, unprompted, why the dog gets the good chair.

How we make them

Every shirt is printed one at a time, right here in the USA, and only after you order it. No warehouse full of tees nobody asked for.

We print on Gildan Softstyle® — 100% ring-spun cotton, lightweight and soft, with a modern classic fit and OEKO-TEX® certified low-impact dyes. Comfortable enough for a slow morning, sturdy enough for the walk that follows.

We'd rather make the shirt you reach for on a Sunday than the one that only looks good in a photo.
